i've never understood why cricket is so popular world wide. im a super big baseball fan and it seems very similar but baseball is only popular in america, some latin american countries, and some asian countries. i guess cricket is just a big part of culture in more places

When I was growing up in New Orleans we would play a game in the street that is basically Cricket. I think it was called "Cool Can". The setup and rules resembled Cricket. Instead of wickets we used empty soda cans. Instead of bails we would just knock over the can. The ball we used was a tennis ball and the bat was a broom stick. It was a great game when all the neighborhood kids joined in.
i work in kuwait and have been seeing this game played many times thanks for the run down im sure im going to half to watch this a few more times before i try to play. and the whole i don't speak hindi part might be a problem
