  1. Bastion is still the best game they have made and one of my favourite games ever made. I remember seeing and hearing about it on Inside Gaming on Machinima long time ago and bought it.

  3. This game shaped me. I saw the game on a magazine back early 2010's and I was instantly hooked because of one reason, the protagonist's name. I finally get to play this game fully back 2017, and it was the greatest feeling I ever had. I told myself that I'd buy all Supergiant games 'cuz Bastion left such a good impression on me. I love this game so much.

  4. Bastion was the game that made me realize video games can be art; a medium that can make you feel something, like movies and books and fine art. An absolutely incredible experience, and I have followed SuperGiant ever since. Truly an incredible experience.

  5. I'm glad this game dev studio exists. And a big thumbs up to the dad who believed in his son and gave him his house as a starter studio.

  9. Saw a monster on here that reminded me of a Hades monster then I realized they also made Hades. This team puts out one banger after another.

  13. Bastion was the 1st indie game I ever played and it was ironically at a time when I was much, much younger and didn't think highly of indie titles, or at least the idea of playing anything but AAA/AA to me was absurd. Everyone was talking about it and I still didn't want to try it. Needless to say, spending $4 on Bastion when it went on sale and having it blow my mind when I was spending $80+AU on AAAs that lasted 2-3 hours like CoD at the time, was a pretty big reality check and I never underestimated the potential of indie games ever again.

Because of Bastion, a vast majority of my backlog & wish list consists of indie titles.

  14. That moment when Greg was explaining about the ending – right in the feels. To this day this game remains the best Supergiant game for me as well, I own it on PC, PS4 and Switch. Beautiful masterpiece. I may not be a supporter or a patreon, but Noclip – thank you for this video, meant a lot to me.

  15. The only thing I don't like is saying the tone is like 'if Cormac McCarthy wrote fantasy' they must not have read a lot of Cormac McCarthy.
