Alright, so here is the finished Character Applications for my RP which I have chosen to call Dot Hack//Underground. The actual Role playing thread will be posted within the next few days. <---(this last sentence is a lie) >,>
If you have any questions about the application or the RP, please PM me rather then posting them here. This thread is strictly for Finished Character Applications. Also, keep in mind that the character application form is subject to change. I will be sure to PM anyone whom has applied if there is a change in the application that needs to be filled out. Please also note that this RP takes place in R:1, not in R:2. That means original four games/AI buster/sign/LOTB. The exact time frame (within the R:1 era) will be decided shortly. Please simply copy and paste the application template and delete what is in parenthesis, then begin filling it out. To ensure that you read all of the application, there are four key words that you must send to me. your first word is delta.

ALSO. All fields in the application template MUST be filled out unless other wise directed.

Skin tone: Pale
Body build: Medium-sized, Slim with porportionate/adequete muscle
Clothing: Leather bracers, leather greaves, dark brown tunic with a dark red vest over it, dark red pantwear, brown boots. All fairly loose (besides greaves and bracers).
Markings: Two Markings of the Thunder Wave (zigzag), one on each forearm, as well as two markings of the Flame Wave (flame pattern), one on the back of each shoulder

~Personality~

Strengths:
1.) Extremely high intellect.
2.) Veteran player, and has developed many connections.
3.) Able to control emotions/stay composed.
Weaknesses:
1.) A loner (even though possesses multiple connections), rarely trusts anyone.
2.) Can be cripplingly blunt at times, while incomprehensibly cryptic at others.
3.) Often viewed as cold/moody (mainly as a result of surpressing emotion).

Overview: Logs into The World at the very least for two hours a day, reads the BBS regularly (though rarely posts), and gathers information by listening into players' conversations as well as through use of his own connections.
With very few exceptions, usually journeys alone, uses the people's member addresses only to learn about the going-ons of The World and to exchange information.
Is largely unknown to the casual gamers who take part in The World.
Seeing as how Mímir is detached, only a couple of people know what he is really like personality-wise, and even they are in the dark about quite a bit.

Mímir sat with his legs hanging over the canal of the Aqua Capital, Mac Anu. He had left his home a good thirty minutes ago, to see what new information or rumours were circulating among the players. So far, however, he had yet to hear anything new. Sigh. Useful information has been sparse these last few days. The rumour mill has seemed to have dried up as well. I suppose there is not a point in sitting here, since no valuable information is being tossed around.
Mímir used the /stand command to get back on his feet. He set off for the Chaos Gate. He figured he might as well get in some adventuring, instead of just wasting time pondering about why there is such a lack of information circulating. Just as he got to the bridge that spans the beautiful man-made waterway, something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. Well, that is quite intriguing. That character's data is obviously altered, it's so extravagant. But why would such a person be wandering around in plain sight in a Root Town? Hm, maybe today will be more interesting than initially thought. The Twin Blade immediately set off after the PC in question, who was heading down a back-alley...

(I'm not sure if this is adequate, and just in case it isn't apparent, everything in italics is my characters thoughts).

~Appearance~

Hair: A very dark redish-brown, down to the middle of his back, in a neat pony-tail. His bangs go over his eyes, so at times his eyes are hidden from view.

Eyes: Again, typical anime eyes, medium-sized. And unusual dark-green.

Skin tone: Slightly tanned; as in, not completely pale, has some color, but not a lot.

Body build: Muscular, not ridiculously so, but more than just moderate/adequate; 100 kg. Quite tall, 190 cm.

Clothing: Dark green bracers and greaves to match his eyes (both made of leather), navy blue tunic and pantwear. Black leather boots.

Markings: Two markings of the Thunder Wave on his abdomen. Both ears are pierced in multiple places: A stud in each lobe, and another on the upper part of each ear. Has a tattoo over his left eye (description will come later). Also, a scar that goes almost from his right ear lobe to almost the right corner of his mouth.

Other: Age Apperance is late twenties, early thirties.

~Personality~

Strengths:
1.) A complete realist. Considers and is aware of both sides of a situation.
2.) Friendly, in the sense he doesn't automatically reject people. Gives off a care-free vibe.
3.) Seeing as how he has been playing The World since it's beta version, he's very well connected and knows a variety of veteran players.

Weaknesses:
1.) The care-free attitude is just a front. He keeps most people at a distance, not really letting them in.
2.) Tends to be more occupied with helping/aiding/assisting others than taking care of himself, both online and offline.
3.) At times over-thinks things and reads into things too much/at times thinks when he should act.

Overview: Offline, Kaien is a chain-smoker. He had to disable the smoke-dector in his computer room so that he could smoke while playing The World.
Kaien is somewhat of a genius, as per he completed college and got his Bachelor's degree at the age of twenty. He spends an absurd amount of time online, that's what almost all his free time is spent on.
Has a fair balance of journeying alone and adventuring with a party. Does quite a lot of CC Corp. sponsered events (as in, he tries to complete a lot of them). Has a few player he's close to, one or two in particular he's quite fond of and has met offline. Because of his seemingly open-personality and multiple connections, he is a somewhat known character in The World, not by any means famous, but more than a few times threads about him have appeared on the BBS, much to his dismay.

Role Play sample: Kaien had just warped from Don Loireag to Mac Anu by use of the only mode of transportation between towns: the Chaos Gate. He sighed. Why is noone online right now? It's only four in the afternoon, it's not like it's late or anything. Kairi and Saeki aren't at work right now, and when are they ever busy?

Kaien was walking towards Mac Anu's Item Shop when he recieved a flashmail. Yes! It's Saeki! ...Damn, both he and Kairi aren't going to be able to get on today. This is such a bummer. Kaien refilled all of his low-level healing and restorative items, maxed out his Speed Charms, and headed over to Elf's Haven to store a few unnecessary items. I'm almost out of cigs, maybe I should go out for a bit and grab some and a bite to eat. I was in the mood to go adventuring in a party today, this is such a drag.

Another ping alerted Kaien to the fact that he had another flashmail. What the? I don't know this account name? He reads message and an interesting look appears on his face.I'm definitely going to have to check this out. Kaien left to go to the area that was described as the meeting place in the message: Delta Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground, The Hulle Granz Cathedral...

i don't really know all the rules and things....but if he's a level 49....how can he wear level 51, and 52 equipment?

In IMOQ, a character can wear equipment that's higher than their character's level.
